This update is a little late, but I figured I’d give it a shot as I couldn’t make the reunion. After high school, I attended the University of Utah, or “college football’s reigning national champions”. I met up with some old high school classmates - one of whom presided over my wedding ceremony (Jake Umbriaco) – and made some new friends. After my degree, I got me some more schooling at the University of Oregon where I met my wife and something called rain. My better half started her “work” on me and now I enjoy fine foods and wine, all the while developing a habit of leaving the toilet seat down. My brother acquired a taste of greenery and now lives in Oregon as well, although he hit his head at some point and became a Beaver fan in a sea of Ducks. My sister briefly moved to Oregon, but is now recovering in Utah. After my marriage and PhD, we moved to the Bay area where my wife and I both work as scientists, and more importantly, dog owners. And it is because of said dogs that I could not make the reunion. Take care!

Jenna (Anderson) Egbert

After high school I went up to WSU w/ everyone else from high school. After a semester & a half, decided that school was not for me just yet. Started working full time at Granite Furniture for about 3 years, then moved over to Citi Bank as a Customer Service Rep. I met my husband Randy and 2 months later we were married, it was the whirlwind romance where we just knew so why wait type thing. He started school at WSU where I continued to try to find what I wanted to do when I grew up. I worked many different jobs then I started at the Internal Revenue Service and have been there for 3+ years and slowly moving up the GS-Ladder. We bought a older house in Washington Terrace and have been slowly fixing it up. My husband just graduated in December from WSU. Now we are just busy playing and remodeling, traveling and having tons of fun. We have a private blog if you would like an invite please email dailyegg@gmail.com.

Hello! It has been so fun to "catch up" with everyone on this blog...hopefully many more will continue to post! After graduation, I headed up to Logan to attend Utah State. My 3 years there with LHS friends were so fun, and I graduated with a BA degree in Fashion Merchandising. I began to work for the Gap during my first year of college, and 9 years later, they are a company I still love to work for. I was promoted into management in the fall of 2002, and worked at Crossroads babyGap, Crossroads GapKids, and the Gateway Gap before accepting a store manager position and moving to Billings in the fall of 2003. I packed up a Uhaul and began quite an adventure...moving to the state of Montana, all by myself, and not knowing a single soul. After a short 18 months, I was ready for adventure again, and set my sights on Seattle. I accepted a job managing a Gap in Lynnwood Washington (about 20 min. north of Seattle) in the spring of 2005. I have since transitioned to Bellevue Square Mall, which is a short bridge ride over Lake Washington from Seattle. I absolutely love my job, even on the tough days. I have 9 managers that report to me, oversee operations at 2 stores, and manage almost 7 million dollars in annual revenue. My career is challenging, and yet fulfilling at the same time, and my favorite part about my job is my staff. Most of my time is not spent on the selling floor, but rather growing and developing those that I manage into amazing leaders who can run my selling floor. I have loved all that Seattle has to offer, and a new adventure is never far away. The pictures I've posted are myself and some of my friends soaking in all that SeattIe has to offer. I often can be found lounging at the beach, going for an exploratory drive, taking in a ferry boat ride, shopping at Pike's market, cheering for the Mariners or Seahawks, trying a new restaurant with friends, going to a concert (if you can't tell, country is my fave), or taking time off to travel somewhere new. I still find my way back to Utah to visit family, and always love to entertain them when they come to visit me here. Hope this 10 year anniversary finds you all well - and here's to the next 10 years!

Tyler Hale

Hrrppph! After my mission I went to UVSC and finished an Associates in Multimedia. During that time I met my amazing wife, Shelly. Our first date was a BYU football game and we dated for 8 or 9 months before getting married in May of 2004. Five months after we got married I joined the Air Force as a Korean linguist. We moved to Monterey, California for a year and a half, Texas for half a year, a year in Korea, and a year at Ft. Meade, MD.
2008 was an awesome year for us. In April Shelly had our first kid...Logan, who is an absolute stud. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's in Finance in August and I got out of the military in November. I took a job with a company based out of DC in Key West, FL as a project coordinator/software developer. We live pretty much on the beach and enjoy scuba diving and kayaking. I did a triathlon (slowly) in May and plan on doing another in September. We love going on trips that usually include a Monday Night Football game somewhere. Logan is a frequent flyer...he has been on 24 flights in 16 months. For our 5th anniversary we went to NYC for a week and didn't want to come home. Our short term plans right now include moving back up to Maryland sometime near the end of the year, buying a house, and having at least one more kid while I work on my Masters and Shel goes back to school.

MaryAnn (Stewart) Johnson

Hi,
After High School, I went to BYU for 5 years. I met my husband Jeremiah(who grew up on a farm in Colorado) in November of 2003. Our roommates were dating and they set us up on a blind date. It turned out to be a fairytale with a very happy ending. We got married in August of 2004, so we will be celebrating 5 years next week! I graduated in December 2004 with a degree in Community Health, and if you're wondering, I have no idea what I can do with it, but that's ok because in October 2005 we welcomed our first little girl, Lucy, to our family and she's been a full time job ever since. We love her to pieces though and can't imagine life without her. In June 2008 I got a promotion when we added another little girl, Hailey, to the mix. She's growing up too fast and is walking and into everything, and believes she's a big girl, even though she's not! We've lived in Springville, Utah for the past 4 years and just bought a house here. We love the area we live in, and hope to be here for a long time. Jeremiah works as a computer programmer (the non-nerdy type :D ) for a small company in Provo, and does very well there. Not too much exciting happening here, but it's a good life and I enjoy it!

Amber (McCallister) Weaver

After graduation I headed up to Ricks College to play more than to get an education. I had a blast and loved the outdoor classes. I married my wonderful husband, Jon Weaver (class of 2008) in Oct. of 2001. We then headed to Louisville, Kentucky where I went to Dental Hygiene school while he was doing his undergraduate classes for business. As I was graduating dental hygiene he applied for dental school and we ended up living in KY for almost 8 years. We had 2 kids while we were in Kentucky. Our sweet handsome boy, Caiden, is 4 years old and our sassy adorable 2-year-old girl is Kaebrii. They are a lot of fun and I am very blessed to be able to work as needed but have the opportunity to be a stay at home mom. Jon graduated from dental school this past May. We are now in Anchorage Alaska. He is an associate with my brother-in-law and plans to be part owner with him. We are loving the summer and the great outdoor activities that Alaska offers. We are excited for this new phase of our lives (being out of school finally!) and to be able to raise our children in Alaska! I am sad that I am not going to be able to make it to the reunion but I would love to keep in touch please email me to get to our blog and facebook. jsweav@yahoo.com

Marci (Jacobs) Honea

I went to Cedar City (SUU) the first semester after graduating, but transfered home to WSU after that. I was here every weekend anyway seeing friends off on missions. I was fortunate enough to get a job at Delta Airlines while they were still on campus and took every advantage of the travel benefits. Once I received my AA degree, I transfered to the airport and took the Leave of Absence they offered after 9/11 (I still got to travel but didn't have to work). I was unable to return after the 5 years was up, so now I'm stuck on the ground for a time until I win the lottery and can afford to go all the places I want to. I have yet to decide what to major in for my BA, so I took a break and went to cosmetology school in the mean time. I now get to work when I want and earn what I want to, but most importantly I get to stay home with my little monkey, Jack.

Sean and I met in the Dallas 11th singles ward in Dallas, TX where I had moved shortly after returning from my mission in Hungary. Since everyone here in Utah was already married, except me, and I was bored and not doing anything exciting, I moved. We were married April 9, 2005 in the Logan Temple, then drove back home to Dallas. We've been living with my folks in Syracuse since November 2005. We initially moved back here from Dallas 3 years ago to house sit for them so they could go on a mission and Sean could go to school. It took them another year to decide to go and we've been here since. They returned from Romania/Moldova on Christmas. We're waiting to see where the wind will blow us next, but hoping for somewhere foreign.

Sean is the Utah Area Rep for Boost Mobile (owned by Sprint/Nextel) and is finishing his schooling at WSU--the reason we moved back from Dallas.
We had our first, and so far only, child on February 14, 2008. Jack is a true delight and keeps us laughing every day. Isn't it funny the mannerisms they develop and what they pick up on from grownups?

I guess we'll see some of you Saturday afternoon. Szia!

(We don't have any recent family photos, but this was our Christmas card. Our dog, Suzee has since passed away, but the rest of us are still here. We're just introducing Jack to a leash/backpack. He's slowly figuring out he can't go as far as he once could and wants to. They're wonderful!)

Wow!!! Ten years, I can not believe it has been so long. Well after graduation I worked as a Nurse and played an took a break from school. I took classes at Weber State for Nursing but did not get to finish as I went to the administrative side and started working on a BSHA. I took a break again when I got married in September 2001, however I got divorced July 2003. I then took a job in Oregon. I moved again, I took a job in Tennessee and spent almost 5 wonderful years there. I loved the south I was there &helped out during Hurricane Katrina & also got to travel a lot around the USA. I also got to travel during this time and work with doctors at Shepard's hospital in Atlanta Georgia where they specialize in spinal cord injuries which some of my patients had & I got to learn and specialize in knowing how to care for these types of injuries. I moved further in my career & finished my BSHA thru University of Phoenix. I then took a job transfer to Utah and then back to Tennessee then Utah again. Then a year ago I moved to Washington State and have enjoyed it here and took sometime to slow down and get to know my 3 nieces and do more than just work. I work as a Nurse and am finishing my RN & will take a break from school for a little bit. I live on the coast of Washington in Bremerton. I hope all you guys have fun at the reunion I will not be able to attens as I have prior plans that prevent me from being there. See everyone at the next one. I am on myspace an some of you have also found me on facebook.

Lori (Lessig) Tanner

Ten years, how is it that I am almost 30? The other day I had to explain to my nephew what the Berlin Wall was. As for me in 2003 I received a B.A. from BYU Provo in Public Relations. I had a really rewarding college experience, including meeting wonderful dear friends and a study abroad where we took a bus from Mexico City all the way down to Guatemala studying culture and ruins. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Los Angeles and worked for NBC in the publicity department. Yes, I met a lot of celebrities and yes they are as bad as the LA traffic. In 2006, I married a cute So Cal surfer boy, Mike, who had no plans to leave the ocean so last summer we bought a house close to the beach in West LA. BOOYA! This past November we welcomed a little girl into our home, named Catherine and… well, I fell in love, harder than I ever have before, she is my little miracle! As for me, in addition to being a mom, I am currently in graduate school working on a masters degree in speech therapy, leaving the world of entertainment for the birds. In ten years I am realizing I am more like my own mother than I want to admit (gulp), don’t travel as much as I want to, and my list of books to read just keeps piling up on my nightstand. Overall, life is treating me good; not much to complain about when you live close to the ocean!

Marci (McKinstry) Webb

When I think it's been 10 yrs. since we graduated, it makes me feel old! After graduation I headed to the College of Eastern Utah on a volleyball scholarship, and had a great time. I never would have have thought I would meet my husband Tyler there, who was also at CEU on a basketball scholarship. While home from the summer of my sophomore year in college, I decided to do the Miss Layton Pageant on a dare from my friends. Ironically, I ended up winning and went on to represent Layton at the Miss Utah pageant. I wouldn't consider myself a "pageant" person, but it actually was a really rewarding experience. After Miss Utah, I got married, and my husband and I continued our education at BYU. After my husband graduated we followed his career path in pharmaceutical sales to Los Angeles. Sadly, I was unable to graduate before we moved, so I received my BA from Cal State Northridge. After I graduated I also pursued a career in pharmaceuticals, so both my husband and I sold drugs! :) We recently moved near Palm Springs, CA and although we miss being closer to our families, we don't miss the snow! Just four months ago we welcomed our first child, a sweet baby boy named Beckham, and I took a "promotion" to stay home with him, and also teach fitness classes for fun. Looking forward to seeing all of you and catching up!

Wow, 10 years have gone by so fast. We are so old! After high school, I went to WSU for 2 1/2 years getting the prerequisites for the Dental Hygiene Program. In Feb. of 2002, I went on a mission to Italy. It was such an awesome experience. I returned home in Aug. of 2003 and started the Dental Hygiene Program at WSU. I met my husband, Nate, in Dec. of 2003 at a WSU student ward. We got married in Aug. of 2004 and have lived in Layton ever since. We both graduated in May of 2005 from WSU. I graduated in Dental Hygiene and Nate graduated in Technical Sales. In June of 2008, we welcomed our first little boy, Lincoln. He has brought so much joy to our little family. I currently work a few days a week for an awesome dentist in Kaysville. Nate works as a Sales Rep. for Porter-Brown. We both love our jobs and love being parents. For fun, we like to hang out with friends and family, go to Bear Lake, watch movies, and play games. We are enjoying life and I'm excited to see everyone at the reunion.

Wow, 10 years just flies by! After graduating, I started some college courses before leaving on an LDS mission to Poland in December 1999. I met my wife, Melissa just 5 days after returning from my mission in February 2002 and we were married in October 2002. I continued my education at of U of U until 2005. Though they let me walk, they later claimed I did not fulfill my requirements for graduation and, sadly, they refused to grant me a diploma. Rather than go back to finish, I decided to pursue a career as a Realtor. I received my license in 2004 and I have been happy in that career ever since. I joined Zip Realty in January 2008 and I think it is the best Real Estate company in the nation! I am excited to have my wife join me when she finishes school! In March 2006 we welcomed our first son, Samuel, and in September 2007 our second son, Dylan, was born. Sadly, my wife had to have a hysterectomy 3 months ago and so no more children for us until we can adopt, hopefully, in the near future. We have a nice home in Layton and we are grateful to be living close to family. I look forward to seeing all my old friends and to find out where life has taken them these past ten years. Life is good, though it is not without trials; however, I don't think I could appreciate the good in my life without the bad. I have a great career, a beautiful family, and a nice home. Life couldn't get much better than this!

Jenny (Randall) Cooper

I can't believe it's been 10 years! After graduation I attended Weber State and worked a lot, advancing up the ladder at America First Credit Union and eventually onto the Title Company Industry. I was lucky to be in the right spot at the right time when I was re-connected with a childhood friend who is now my best friend and husband, York Cooper (class of '98). We have been married for almost 7 years. We have bought and fixed up 2 homes in Layton and love where we currently are, a couple blocks from the High School! We have been blessed with 2 adorable girls, Camryn and Reese and were shocked to find out we were expecting again at the first of this year. And then even more shocked to learn we are having twin girls due anytime! I am so lucky to be able to stay home with them. Life with 4 kids under the age of 3 1/2 will be crazy but we are excited. We enjoy camping, hunting, riding the ranger and doing pretty much anything outdoors as a family. We won't be at the reunion thanks to these buns in the oven but hope that everyone has a great time!

Jake Umbriaco

Hello friends. It’s been awhile…. I’m married with canines (Kelsey and Battlecat) and reside in Houston, TX.

After graduation I moved into El Caliente Apts with (Adam) Schwarz, (Kyle J.O.) Dittmer, and Ari (Fershtut). Dittmer’s bike got stolen, our floor reeked of curry, and we had two tv’s stacked on top of each other…..good times. Speaking of Dittmer- he’s a you-tube sensation and you simply must check out this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srRdtl9Rk5M).
The boys and I all matriculated at the U together. I graduated in 2001 with a BS in Geophysics. I spent 6 months working outside of Seattle as a Campus Minister at PLU and then spent the summer in Rome hanging out with refugees (mostly Afghani and Iraqi). I returned to SLC in the Fall of ’02 – and started grad school. I was also the Baptist Campus Minister at the U for 3 yrs.
Erin and I met at a party… she was there with friends and I was dancing on tables. I have this killer routine involving elephant-themed undies and undersized billy-goats… it’s sort of complicated to explain… but I found her digits on a single and decided to give her a call.
That last paragraph might be fabricated…. Anyway – Erin and I dated for three yrs… as the wedding day approached an event happened that altered the course of our future together. Erin insisted that prior to our wedding I get my eyebrows waxed. This follicle emasculation traumatized me in ways I’m not yet emotionally ready to deal with. Suffice to say I watch the Gilmore Girls a lot.

After Erin graduated and I finished my MS we moved to Houston. If you’ve ever worked out really hard you’ll know the sensation of taking off that gym sock…. It’s all sweaty and hot and gross. So if you climbed into that sock with 5 million other people… that’s Houston!
Erin just finished her MD at Baylor College O’ Medicine and has started her residency here in Pediatrics. I work for Chevron in downtown Houston as geophysicist and I pastor a church called Kaleo.

I just started an MBA program at Rice and I’m in class all next week so I won’t be able to make it out for the festivities.

Anita "Anu" Apte

10 years!? Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to the reunion. It will be a blast though and I’m sad to miss it! Here’s the scoop on me: I graduated from the University of Utah with what I like to call “the de facto desultory degree’. That would be the Bachelors of Science in Behavioral Science and Health Administration with minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. Otherwise known as the, I’m pre-med because my parents want me to be, but do I really want to be . . . degree. After graduation I moved to Seattle with my dog, a moving truck, and the ocean and rainforests in mind. My first roommate in Seattle heard my mom call me Anu, my childhood nickname, and it stuck. Most Seattleites don’t know my real name is Anita. Being called Anu reminds me of being young, so what the heck, Anu it is. I delved into the fashion design world for 2 years. I designed my own line, did some print modeling, decided I was bored, and abandoned ship. I met the ever so handsome Zane Harris in the fall of 2005 and we’ve been joined at the hip since. We are living in sin in our work/live artist loft located in an old converted warehouse that was formerly a burlap bag factory built in 1904. I don’t think I want ceilings lower than 22 feet ever again. Over the past few years we have worked on several projects together including our newest and biggest. We just bought a bar! As of August 1st we are the proud owners of the Rob Roy in Seattle. If any of you are ever in Seattle we’d love to have you visit us. We can whip up some tasty non-alcoholic drinks too! The next few years of our lives will be dedicated to bringing new techniques, products, and the freshness to Seattle. Other than that, I have no kids, am 10 pounds heavier, can’t lift small women over my head any longer, still play soccer once in awhile, travel as much as I can, and miss all of my Utah friends dearly. You can catch me on facebook or http://www.robroyseattle.com/ or http://www.acoupleofcocktails.com/.

Jeanne (Meilstrup) Moore

The last 10 years have flown by. It's crazy! After highschool I went to Weber State and was in and out of college as fast as I could be. I walked for graduation on my 21st birthday with a major in Spanish Business and minor in Technical Sales. I then studied abroad to Costa Rica which was so awesome. I came home and got married six months later in December 2002. I met my hubby Josh the last semester of college at Weber in our Spanish class. We've been married almost 7 years now and have a girl named McKayla who turns 2 this October. We are planning number two in the near future. I work for the government...and yes, the last place I would have ever imagined finding myself, since I hate politics. I work for the Department of Workforce Services as an Eligibility Specialist for the State of Utah. And I love my job because I get to work at home in pajamas all day. Josh is a secondary Spanish and Art teacher at Hunter Jr. High School. We built a home in Stansbury Park almost 4 years ago and love it out here. I hope to see ya all at the reunion!

Melissa (Johnson) Newbold

Hey everyone! It is so fun to catch up on here! After graduation I worked at The Hearing Zone for about a year and then went on to get a job doing the accounting and title work at a car dealership, where I worked until December 2004. In February of 2003 I was set up on a blind date with my husband Ryan Newbold (He graduated from Clearfield in 1998 and no, we are not related to the Newbolds that went to Layton High-I get asked that a lot!) Anyway, we were engaged about a month and a half later and married in August of 2003 in the Salt Lake Temple. We then built a house in Syracuse and moved in four months after we got married and we love it out here!A year after being married I found out I wouldn't be able to have children due to some health problems, so we adopted our first child, Zachary, in April of 2006. He was born in California and we were lucky to be able to be there for his birth but spent a very long three weeks beforehand in a very boring hotel room waiting! My husband is working on his degree in accounting and I did schooling in Medical Transcription and am lucky enough to be able to do that from home so I can stay home with my sweet little boy. We are currently in the process of trying to adopt another baby. We have a blog but it's private so email me at lissa9480@yahoo.com if you want me to add you! We might not be able to make it to the reunion so I hope everyone posts on here!

Amber (Stevens) Hansen

Wow. The 12 years spent in school didn't seem to go as quickly as the past 10 have. After graduation I headed out to Catalina Island, to work my second summer at the Boy Scout camp Cherry Valley. Two weeks into camp I met Kevin. We spent the summer getting to know each other- we joke that the 9 weeks we spent there, together everyday, had to be the equivalent of 9 months of dating. We got home in August and were engaged in September. We got married in December. So not only am I celebrating my 10 year high school reunion this year we are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this December! We have 4 kiddos. Noah is 8- going into 3rd grade and is quite the question asker. He wants to invent and know everything about everything. Gabriel (Gabe) is 6 1/2- going into 1st grade and loves fishing, riding his bike, and riding the longboard. Aaron will be 5 in October and likes to do his own thing, anything that his brothers are doing and learning how to swim. Sarah turns 2 Aug.30 th- she's such a character. I didn't know that I would really love having a girl until I had her. She loves babies, singing and is learning to talk just as much as her older brothers. They all have great smiles which I love. Kevin is finishing up his degree in Construction Management at Weber- we're looking forward to a Spring 2010 graduation and works for DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. I stay at home with my kiddos and work on my "Masters" in this "Stay At Home Mom" program :) It's a full time career/education choice. Does that make sense? We built a home out in Syracuse and have lived here for almost 6 years. We love the area and don't plan on leaving anytime soon.Well, if you come to the reunion come say hello and if you don't make it you can come say hello on my blog. It's sometimes about me but mostly about my family. :) Come check out what's goin' on www.amberthinks.blogspot.com

Amy (Shreeve) Keeler

Hi LHS '99 Friends! Long story short:
After life at LHS I went off to Ricks College where I spent two years giddily flirting with "RM's" (which got me nowhere...), raising frogs from Wal-Mart with my roommate Alicia (Marquardt), and pursuing an Associates Degree in some kind of randomness. From there I school hopped a bit- Weber State, then BACK to what was now "BYU-Idaho," and eventually I ended up at BYU in Provo where I often ran into LHS alums. Fun. While at BYU I toured Hong Kong, mainland China, and Korea with the Young Ambassadors, and in 2006 I graduated with a BFA in Music/Dance/Theatre. Right after graduation I was hired as a vocalist by the Walt Disney Company and shipped off to Hong Kong to play "Belle" in a little show they have at Hong Kong Disneyland. Following my return from the land of Asian-ness, I came home to Utah for a few months, and was quickly hired by the company to move to Orlando and play "Belle" in the Beauty and the Beast stage show at Disney's Hollywood Studios (Formerly MGM). It was in Orlando that I met my husband, we dated for a year-and-a-half, and got married on March 25, 2009 (NEWLYWEDS!) in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. We moved back to Utah, bought a house, he works as a marketing director, I do seasonal work for Disney, and I'm in the process of building up a vocal studio out of my home. We have a blog: http://www.maimsiecakes.blogspot.com/. Visit us there! I'm loving the updates on everyone's lives! Keep 'em coming.

Michelle (McMillan) Olson

Hey everyone! Wow, it is absolutely crazy to me that our ten year is coming up! It's funny b/c high school seems SOOO long ago, and yet at the same time I feel like, "Has it really been ten years? Am I really 27? Where did the time go?" I don't know about any of you, I still feel really young...I say to my hubby all the time, "Can you believe we have two kids? We're too young to be doing this." :)Anyway, I'll give a little update. After high school I headed down to BYU and had the time of my life. I did my first two years there and then transferred to UVSC to do their dental hygiene program. After I'd graduated, I decided to head back to BYU for one more year of schooling so that I could get my history degree as well, which I'd been working on the whole time I was in hygiene school (history is my real passion but I didn't want to do anything with it career-wise). I met my perfect match when I went back to the Y, Jared Olson from California. The funny thing is, he made a "pact" with his buddies when they came to BYU that none of them would marry Utah girls. Well, what can I say? We were married June of '04, graduated together, and headed down that very day to Phoenix AZ where Jared did pharmacy school at Midwestern University and I worked as a hygienist. We loved a lot of things about Phoenix (like the farmer's markets...super cheap produce!) but NOT the heat. Ugh. So after he graduated we moved back up here and Jared did a one year residency at Primary Children's Hospital. We bought a house in West Layton and are loving life!! We have a beautiful little girl, (quite the fireball if I do say so myself) named Siena (2.5 yrs old) and we just added a sweet little guy named Turin to the fam (3.5 mos). I am not working currently and may never go back to hygiene...I love being a mom and that was always my dream was to stay home with my kids. Life is fantastic!! I can't wait to see you guys at the reunion!

Natalie (Phillips) Meyers

10years....wow! I suppose I should feel old, but fortunately I am way to busy to think about it! So quick recap. The summer after we graduated I went to Europe for awhile with my sister-it was totally wicked! I started Weber State in the fall of 99 majoring in Nursing. In 2000 I spent some time in Hawaii and went a little boy crazy! In 2001 I met the right boy and we were married in January of 2002. We were so bored our first year of marriage we built our 1st house in Syracuse. In 2003 I graduated from WSU with my Nursing degree and have worked for Intermountain Healthcare ever since. I currently am a part-time RN Case Manager/Quality Consultant. I love it! In 2004 I fell in love again, this time with an adorable baby boy named Brock, now 5. Brock is the funniest kid you will ever meet, we love him and are so glad that he is part of our family. In 2005 we built our second home and my hubby decided to go back to school majoring in a totally different direction. In 2006 we were blessed with another bundle of joy-this time a little girl we named Kate aka Natalie Jr-she definitely fits the mold! She is so stinkin cute! In 2008 we spent some time vacationing in Mexico and really contemplated moving there :). This year we decided to build our 3rd and hopefully final home in Layton, but I won't hold my breath. I don't think I'll make it to the reunion, but I have a private blog for those who are interested in keeeping in touch. Just email me aldennat@gmail.com. Cheers!

A big “howdy ya’ll” from San Antonio, TX! Well, after graduation I headed up to Ricks College for 2 years. I came home after Ricks and went to Weber before entering my graduate program at the U in 2001. Along the way I met my husband Chris, and after he got back from Iraq in 2003 we were married in the SLC temple. We bought a small house in Clearfield and did the school thing for a few years. In 2005 I graduated with my Masters in Occupational Therapy (It is a form of rehabilitation, I don’t help people find jobs – which post people think). A few weeks after graduation we headed back east to West Virginia for my husband to attend medical school. While I was not initially thrilled about being a hillbilly, we had great opportunities out there. I started doing therapy on babies, and eventually started a therapy agency which has different types of therapist for infant and toddler rehabilitation. We also started a real estate investment business which pretty much means my husband just collects houses. On Easter of 2008 we were blessed with our sweet Mekynzie which is the best thing of all. In May my husband graduated medical school, and we headed out here to Texas for his internship year . I stay home with Mekynzie, and run our agency from out here. Whenever my husband has a break from school/work, we love to travel and see the world. I’m sad about missing the reunion, but miss you all. Hello from the Great White North. Or should I say Bonjour. Well I guess I should start at graduation. After graduation I worked in Layton for awhile. After in 2000 I decided to move to Orlando, Florida. There I met my husband Stéphane who was doing a foreign exchange program at UCF. It turned out he was a frenchy from Quebec. We dated for the two semesters he was at UCF. In August 2001 he had to return to Quebec to finish his University and I moved back to Utah. We started a long distant relationship that lasted 10 months. He finished University graduating with a major in micro electronics and is now a Senior Electrical Engineer. He then joined the church and we were married May 2002. After we were married my husband moved me up to Montreal, Quebec. A year later we were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple(had to be with the family ya know). We lived in Montreal for 2 years then we moved the a small city of Cowansville. Our first son Benjamin was born March 2005 and our second son Julien was born April 2007. We love Cowansville it's beautiful out here. We are surrounded by apples in the fall, maple syrup in the winter and corn in the late summer. A bonus is my husband works only 15 minutes from our house. We have a small ward 40 minutes away that we attend where my husband is the bishop. That's the last ten years in a paragraph. I wish I was able to come to the reunion but I hope you all have a good time!

Andrea (Schmidt) Tucker

Hey class of '99! I live near Washington D.C. and I'm a wife of an attorney and a mother of two: Allen (4) and Abby (2). After high school I attended CEU (Utah's best kept secret), then BYU, did marching band for two years (went to the 2001 Liberty Bowl!), met my husband Ross (who is from VA), and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. After I taught one year of Kindergarten in Provo, we headed to Chicago for three years while Ross attended law school at the University of Chicago. We moved to northern Virginia last year and bought a house last month. We'll be celebrating our 6th anniversary this August. Have fun at the reunion! I'll be sure to wear my LHS '99 t-shirt in remembrance.

Hello class of 1999, I like many of you can't believe that we have reached our 10 year mark. Well I have been plenty busy in that time. After graduating I attended Ricks College and received my associates degree. Then I went to Utah State for a couple of semesters, but then I finally picked my major and found that Weber State University was the place for me. I got my bachelors in Technical Sales. While attending Weber I worked at Wal-Mart as the front end manager and hired my mother in law to be. She ended up being one of my cashiers and wanted me to go out with her son. Grudgingly I went out with him and its a good thing that I did because he is the best thing that has happened to me. We have been married now for 3 years and have a beautiful baby girl, Liesel. In my spare time that I have had I have been able to travel to Europe a couple of times, once to France and then back to Germany, Austria and the Netherlands I love traveling!!! I know spend most of my time home and work just a couple of hours a week outside of the home. I am excited to get everyone at the reunion, and all the future reunions!

Hello everyone! Wow…the past 10 years have gone by so fast with so many crazy things that have occurred. After high school, I headed up to Ricks College to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. I met my husband, Justin, up there and we were married in June of 2001. After we were married, we both transferred to Weber State. I finished my degree there and taught first grade for a year. After the school year was over, we had our first child in June of 2004. Shortly after Jordan was born, we moved to Wichita, Kansas where we lived for two years while my husband went to Physician Assistant school. We loved living there! After he finished school, we moved back to Utah to find a job. Shortly after being back, we had Hailee in December of 2006 and built a house in North Salt Lake. We have lived here for just over two years now and we love our neighborhood. We had another little girl, Brynlee, last October and I am still trying to figure out how to get everything done with three kids. I substitute teach when I get a chance, but my main job is to run the fort! I am also excited to say that I have been cancer free for almost two years now! Yep, I am still learning how to deal with the fact that I had cancer and that I probably will have it again some day. I was diagnosed with Melanoma Cancer in October of 2007. Fortunately, it was caught very quickly and I was lucky that it hadn’t started to spread. However, a very large chunk was taken out of my arm just to be sure that they got it all. My heart goes out to all those that have to deal with any type of cancer. It is a scary thing! Unfortunately, I will be out of town during the reunion, so I will not be able to attend. I hope all is well with everyone and I wish the best for you all!

After graduation I went to Ricks for summer before shipping off to Poland for "the best two years". After I got back, I finished up at BYU-I and transferred to BYU in Provo where I met my wife of 6 years. We live in Orem with our two kids Cason (2) and Luci (5 months). I work in Marketing for Omniture and depending on the season ride my skis or bike for enjoyment. Lauren is a full time mom and keeps the family going. Reading this blog has brought back a flood of memories and I can't wait to see everyone at the reunion.

Hello Ya'll - it's been awhile! I hope life is treating all of you well. After graduation, I had fun at BYU for a year and then transfered to Weber. After changing my major about 4 times, I pursued a degree in Business Administration (emphasis Human Resources), and met Cameron. We have been married for almost 7 years and have two beautiful children, Carter and Abby. I worked for America First Credit Union as an administrative assistant until I had Carter and now I like to call myself a domestic engineer! I have a blog, but it is private; so if you would like an invite, leave a comment with your email and I will invite you. We currently reside in Clearfield and hope to see you at the reunion!

Jenny (Furse) Black

Well, I'm not sure how many people will remember me, I was home schooled starting half way through 7th grade, but I went to seminary, driver's ed, and the occasional school event.
In November 1999 I started working at Davis County Library, and was there until September of 2007. In July 2003 I met Rich Black from Davis High, class of 2000. We met at church in the YSA ward. We married in November that year. In 2005, Rich joined the Navy Reserves, and a year later we made the choice for him to go Active Duty in the Navy. In 2007 we moved down here to San Diego, and will be here until at least summer of 2012. I worked at Babies R Us for a few months. While working there I found out I was pregnant, and September 2008 our daughter Olivia was born. I now stay at home with Olivia, and I'm enjoying it. I don't have a current picture of the 3 of us, so there are two pictures.

Jamie (Loock) Willden and Kelly Willden

Hi everyone! It's so hard to believe we've been graduated for 10 years already! I swear I'm not THAT old! After graduating from high school, I continued my education at Weber State University. I was on the staff at the radio station there and LOVED it! I ran into Kelly Willden at a singles ward activity in the summer of 2003 (he had just gotten home from his mission to New York City). We started dating in the fall of 2003 and were married in March of 2004. (It's funny how things like this work out because I don't think we would've ever gone out in high school! HA HA!) I graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Electronic Media Communications in June of 2005 and we moved into our house in Kaysville in August of that same year.Currently we are busy working and living life. We are expecting twins some time in August or September, so we aren't quite sure if we will make it to the reunion. We hope to at least make it to one or the other, but we will see what happens!

Hello everyone! I am so sad I will not be able to make it to our 10 yr reunion but having this blog will make it a little more bearable if I can still see everyone on here and hear what everyone's been up to, so please post. As for me, after graduation I headed up to Ricks College where I graduated in Office Systems Management in April 2001. I met my husband my last semester at Ricks, graduated and got married that summer. I worked as an Administrative Assistant in Ogden and as a Realtor while my husband finished school at WSU. Then we moved to Wyoming where my husband now works as a Drug Rep and I stay home with my three sweeties. We have lived here 4 yrs and love it. We are happy and life is good. (I don't have a recent family picture due to our new little girl so there are two pictures to get in our whole family.)

Jenny (Thompson) Hickman

I can't wait to see everyone's updates on their lives and catch up with them at the reunion. It is so crazy that we have been graduated for 10 years. After high school I went to Ricks College (yes it was Ricks when I went and my diploma says Ricks so I can still call it that) I was determined not to get married and to work as hard and fast as I could to get my Architecture degree. I made it through my first year at Ricks and met Brad my second year through some mutual Layton friends. We dated our whole second year and got married in August of 2001. So I am coming up on 8 years being married. It is awesome and flies by so fast - I am so lucky that he is my best friend. No kids yet, turns out we both have issues in that department so we are looking at different options. We do have one spoiled rotten dog - a miniature schnauzer named Aspen. We both graduated with associates and moved to Salt Lake to attend the University of Utah. Go UTES! I was accepted into the Architecture program and graduated with my bachelors in 2004. Architecture school was amazing but also the hardest thing I have ever done. I decided to take a year off before doing my Masters and ended up landing a great job out of college that paid me to much for going back to school to be tempting. I worked for this land developer in Lehi, UT for 4 1/2 years, if you know where Cabala's is that is my development. With the change in economy I found myself looking for a new job and now actually work in the same community in the home owners association at Traverse Mountain. I love the people I work with and I am very busy managing over 1200 homes. We currently live in Midvale, UT - life is good, I am lucky to have all my family close and good friends around. If you want to know more or catch up further you can check out my blog bradjenhickman.blogspot.com

Wow, ten years since High School already huh? After High School I attended College at BYU, got a degree in Marketing Communications, and currently work at an Advertising Agency doing Account Management and Planning in Utah. If you look closely enough, you may have even seen me as an extra in a few TV commercials... living the dream. I've been married for almost 4 years, and we have two boys, Madden, who is 2 and a half, and Cooper who was just born last week. I look forward to catching up with everybody at the reunion next month!

Kristina (McKinley) Anger

It's hard to believe that 10 years have passed by so quickly! After high school I made my way to Ogden and attended Weber State University. While there I was part of the WSU track team, my main event being the 100m hurdles. I received my bachelor degree in zoology with a chemistry minor in 2003. I then moved to SLC for medical school at the UofU where I spent four exciting and busy years. After graduating with my M.D. in 2007 I started a general pediatrics residency at Primary Children's Medical Center. I am currently in my third (and last - it's about time) year of residency and am looking forward to a career in hospital-based pediatric medicine. I married Tim in June 2008. We met in college and spent four years apart while he went to dental school in Philadelphia. We are now living in Sugarhouse with our two dogs. Unfortunately, I won't be able to catch up with everyone at the reunion because I'll be with my family in Hawaii, but I'm looking forward to reading your comments on the blog. I hope all is well in everyone's lives and I look forward to seeing you at the 20 year reunion!

Kyle Harmon

Hello class of 99, Kyle Harmon here. Me and my family are currently living in Baltimore, Maryland. I have been married for 5 1/2 years and I have 2 very cute little boys. I am in my 4th and final year of dental school and I am really excited to get out and be done with school after 9 long years. Good to hear from all of you.

Tamara (Bowker) Kearney

After graduation, I moved to Ventura, California to live with my best friend. Things didn't work out, so, after five months, I moved back in with my folks; by then, they'd moved to Denever, Colorado. I left for the Navy two years after my younger sister did; February 2003. Little did I know that my future husband was in boot camp at the same time I was; had I gone to the Unitarian Universalist service just weeks sooner, I would have met him then. As the Fates would have it, we met onboard USS Peleliu in September 2003. We "hooked up" February 6, 2004 and he proposed April 24, 2004 and we were married a year to the date later. In October 2005 (just six months after we'd been married) we decided to have a go at getting pregnant, so that we could really have something (or someone, in this case) to call our own. Patrick left for a deployment in late February 2006. I took a test that morning and it came out negative. He told me before he left that I was pregnant and it's a girl. I found out on St. Paddy's Day that I was pregnant; found out in early June that I was pregnant with a little girl. He came home July 4th and our lovely Belladonna was born November 18, 2006. Patrick did one more deployment and returned home after only 120 days; the shortest one yet. No more now. I'm no longer active duty and working at Walgreens, of all places. I really wish this Navy veteran was able to find something better. Soon (in a few years) our own photography studio. Patrick is done with the Navy. If you're a mom, I have a CafeMom profile page: http://www.cafemom.com/home/_Tam_ If you're on MySpace, I have one of those: http://www.myspace.com/druidesspersephone I'm on Facebook.
